International returns:
If you are not happy with the products, please make sure to download and fill in the return form and include it in the package. Afterwards, please send your unused products to the following address:

Conditions:
Please make sure the product is returned unused and in the same state as we have sent it to you. The customer is responsible for the cost of returning the goods outside EU. Exception for the USA where we have a warehouse for board returns.The product will be refunded once the product arrives at our location. Lieuwe reserves the right to decide whether the return is valid. If the product is damaged, the return can be refused, or only a portion of the amount can be refunded.

Customers have the right to return the order. The period in which the customer can return the order starts from the day the order is initially made and lasts until 15 working days from the day after receipt of the goods. In such cases, the purchase price excl. shipping costs, will be refunded to the customer within 30 days. The 30 day refund period will begin on the day the consumer has given the notice to cancel the order. This cancellation right is the case if the goods are not of satisfactory quality, fit for their purpose or match their description. However, when the board is made for the customer only, the order can only be cancelled until the design has been confirmed by mail prior production. This applies to all non stock, made to order boards presented on the webpage.

Retail returns:
If your Lieuwe Board or product was purchased from a local dealer, you must bring your product back to the dealer. Please do not contact Lieuwe regarding returning a product that you purchased from a retailer. Unfortunately, we can only accept returns for products purchased directly at Lieuwe boards and were fulfilled and shipped directly by Lieuwe.

VAT Refund Policy - International Purchases (Outside the EU)

Lieuwe Boards processes VAT refund requests for purchases exported outside the European Union in full compliance with applicable EU export and tax regulations.
Customers residing outside the EU who take goods with them upon departure may be eligible for a refund of the VAT paid, provided that a customs-stamped original purchase receipt is submitted.

A VAT refund applies only to the VAT amount and will be processed once:

  • the export of the goods has been confirmed with the required documentation;
  • the original invoice and customs stamp have been received; and
  • the customer’s passport number and full residential address outside the EU are stated on the invoice.

The responsibility for providing, verifying, and ensuring the accuracy of this information lies entirely with the buyer.
Lieuwe Boards cannot be held responsible for typing errors, omissions, or incorrect data provided by the buyer that result in an invalid or non-processable VAT refund.
If one or more of these requirements are missing or incorrect, the VAT refund cannot be processed..

VAT refunds are generally issued via the same payment method used for the original purchase.

Any administrative, banking, or transfer costs incurred in the processing of an international refund may be deducted from the refundable VAT amount.
Lieuwe Boards reserves the right to decline refund requests that do not fully meet EU requirements or the company’s internal verification procedures.
